Today's confession is a big one.
And I have a feeling almost everyone reading this is guilty...
Why do we own so many pairs of knickers... yet somehow wear the same five over and over again?
Seriously.
Open your lingerie drawer.
Go on...
I'll wait.
Now be honest.
How many pairs are in there?
Twenty?
Thirty?
Fifty?
More?
And yet...
Monday morning arrives...
Who gets picked?
The same favourite pair.
Again.
😂
💖 The "I'll Save Those" Pair
You know exactly which ones I mean.
The gorgeous silky satin knickers.
The beautiful lace briefs.
The ones that make you feel amazing.
You carefully fold them.
You admire them.
You tell yourself...
"They're too nice for today."
So back into the drawer they go.
Waiting patiently...
For a "special occasion."
😂 The Everyday Heroes
Meanwhile...
The comfortable pair is sitting there thinking...
"Looks like I'm working overtime again."
Monday?
Me.
Tuesday?
Me.
Wednesday?
Still me.
By Friday they're probably asking for a holiday.
🎀 The New Arrival
Then there's the brand-new pair.
Still wearing its tags.
Looking hopeful.
*"Today's the day..."
Nope.
Back into the drawer.
Poor thing hasn't even seen daylight yet.
🖤 The Forgotten Pair
At the very back of the drawer...
Buried beneath everything else...
Is a lovely pair you completely forgot you owned.
When you finally find them, your first thought is always...
"Oh! I forgot how pretty these are!"
Then...
You fold them neatly...
Put them back...
And somehow forget them all over again.

☕ The Partner's Favourite
Now this one makes me laugh.
My partner has a few favourite pairs.
In fact, if he had his way, I'd probably wear the same ones every single day!
Apparently they're "the prettiest."
Meanwhile I'm standing there thinking...
*"Excuse me...
I have an entire drawer full of options!"*
Of course...
Sometimes I wear his favourite.
Sometimes I don't.
A little surprise keeps life interesting. 😉
🧺 The Laundry Lottery
Here's another mystery...
The minute your favourite pair goes into the wash...
Suddenly none of the others seem quite right.
Why is that?
You have forty pairs.
Yet somehow...
Without that one pair...
You feel like you've got nothing to wear.
It makes absolutely no sense.
But we all do it.

Here's My Friday Challenge...
This weekend...
Open your lingerie drawer.
Find one beautiful pair you've been saving.
The silky satin pair.
The pretty floral pair.
The one with the lovely lace.
The pair that's been waiting far too long.
And wear them.
Not because it's someone's birthday.
Not because you're going out.
Not because it's Valentine's Day.
Simply because...
Today's a perfectly good day to feel fabulous.
