Today's blog started with a conversation over a cup of tea.

My partner looked at my lingerie drawer, pointed to one particular pair of silky knickers and said...

"Can you wear those today?"

I laughed because it wasn't the first time!

It got me wondering...

Does your partner have a favourite pair of knickers?

Or perhaps they couldn't care less what you wear underneath your clothes?

💖 We All Have Our Favourites

I think it's quite funny how we all have favourites.

We have our favourite mug.

Our favourite jumper.

Our favourite pair of shoes.

So why wouldn't our partners have a favourite pair of knickers too?

My partner definitely does!

In fact, if he had his way, I'd probably wear the same few pairs all the time.

Apparently, some are "prettier" than others.

Some are "cuter."

And some just seem to make him smile.

Of course, I like to remind him that I'm the one wearing them! 😂

🌸 But What About Us?

While it's lovely when someone admires what you're wearing, I think the most important opinion is still our own.

At the end of the day, the best lingerie is the lingerie that makes you feel comfortable and confident.

Some days I choose silky satin because it feels luxurious.

Other days it's soft lace.

Sometimes I just want my favourite comfy pair.

And that's perfectly okay.

💬 Shopping Together

One thing I've noticed since running my little lingerie boutique is that quite a few couples actually enjoy choosing lingerie together.

Some partners help pick colours.

Some choose styles.

Some even surprise each other with gifts.

I think that's rather sweet.

After all, shopping together can be just another way of sharing something fun.

💕 A Little Secret...

Even when my partner suggests his favourite pair...

I don't always wear them.

Sometimes I choose something completely different.

Why?

Because that's part of the fun!

And besides...

A little mystery never hurts. 😊

🌷 Everyone's Different

Of course, not everyone has a partner, and not everyone dresses to please someone else.

Some people wear beautiful lingerie purely because they enjoy it.

Others love the comfort of silky fabrics.

Some simply like knowing they're wearing something pretty beneath their everyday clothes.

And honestly?

Every reason is a good reason.

Beautiful lingerie should make you smile first.

If someone else smiles too, that's just a lovely bonus.
