We're eavesdropping on a very important meeting inside my lingerie drawer.
Apparently, all the knickers have something they need to discuss.

🎀 Chairwoman Satin Opens the Meeting
"Right everyone, thank you for coming."
"First item on today's agenda..."
"Can somebody please explain why Anna keeps buying more knickers when there is clearly no room left in this drawer?"
A loud murmur fills the drawer.
🖤 The Black Lace Pair Speaks
"I'd just like to point out..."
"I haven't been worn for nearly three weeks."
"Yet somehow the pink satin pair has already been out twice this week."
"I'm feeling slightly overlooked."
💖 The Favourite Satin Pair Smiles...
"It's not my fault..."
"I'm simply irresistible."
"When she opens the drawer..."
"She looks at everyone else..."
"Then picks me anyway."
The rest of the drawer rolls their eyes.

🌸 The Bloomers Interrupt
"Excuse me..."
"We're still waiting for our holiday."
"We were promised a weekend away..."
"Instead, we've spent the last month folded neatly beside the lavender pair."
🩷 The New Arrival
Still wearing its tags...
Looking nervous...
"Hello everyone..."
"I'm new here..."
"Does anyone know when I actually get worn?"
The older pairs exchange sympathetic glances.
"Could be tomorrow..."
"Could be Christmas..."
"Nobody really knows."

🧺 The Laundry Basket Joins In
"I'd like to make an official complaint."
"The favourite pair keeps arriving back here every other day."
"Can somebody else do a shift?"
☕ Meanwhile...
I'm standing there with my morning cup of tea...
Looking into the drawer...
Thinking...
"I definitely don't need another pair..."
Five minutes later...
I'm browsing online.
Again.
Apparently, self-control and pretty satin don't go together.
😂 The Final Vote
After much discussion...
The knickers voted unanimously.
Their official recommendation was:
✔️ Rotate the drawer more often.
✔️ Wear the pretty pair.
✔️ Stop saving favourites for "one day."
✔️ Buy a bigger lingerie drawer.
The final motion passed with overwhelming support.

Even the new arrivals waiting patiently with their tags still attached.
Life really is too short to leave beautiful lingerie sitting at the back of the drawer.
