Well, ladies and gentlemen, I've seen it all now.

Apparently, wearing your bra as an actual TOP is fashionable.

Yes. You read that correctly.

The very thing we've spent years trying to hide underneath our clothes has apparently decided it's had enough of living in the dark.

And honestly? I think my lingerie drawer is getting ideas. 😂

👙 So… When Did Our Underwear Get Promoted to Outerwear?

Once upon a time, if your bra strap accidentally showed in public, you'd spend the next 20 minutes frantically trying to tuck it back underneath your top.

Your mum would whisper, "Your bra is showing!"

Your nan would probably have a full-blown medical emergency.

And now?

People are deliberately wearing beautiful bras underneath open blazers, sheer tops and oversized jackets.

Apparently, it's called FASHION.

I call it my underwear getting a promotion without even attending an interview. 😂

And the funniest part?

We've gone from hiding our bras to spending £60 on a jacket specifically designed to show them off.

Make it make sense!

🎀 My Silky Bras Have Been Waiting for This Moment

Now, as someone who spends a ridiculous amount of time surrounded by silky satin, pretty lace, frills, bows and gorgeous lingerie, I must admit…

I'm not entirely against this trend.

In fact, some of the bras at Gloss Glam are so pretty that hiding them underneath a jumper almost feels criminal.

Beautiful glossy satin.

Delicate lace.

Gorgeous little bows.

Colours that deserve their own Instagram account.

And we're supposed to cover all that up with a plain T-shirt from the supermarket?

The audacity! 😂

I can practically hear the bras whispering from their drawers:

"Excuse me, I've got black lace and a matching bow. I was not born to live underneath a hoodie!"

🤣 But Can We Talk About the Practicalities?

Because fashion magazines make everything look effortless.

There's a gorgeous model walking through Paris wearing a satin bra, tailored blazer and perfectly styled hair.

Meanwhile, if I attempted the same look on a Tuesday afternoon in Manchester…

I'd be freezing.

My blazer would probably get caught in the car door.

I'd spill coffee down the front.

And someone in Tesco would ask whether I'd forgotten to finish getting dressed.

"Excuse me, love, do you know you've only got your bra on?"

"YES, BARBARA. IT'S CALLED HIGH FASHION!" 😂

And let's not even discuss the British weather.

One minute you're serving glamorous Parisian runway vibes.

The next you're standing at a bus stop in sideways rain, wondering why you didn't just wear your thermal vest.

💕 Does This Mean Knickers Are Next?

Because this is where I start getting concerned.

If bras are now tops, how long before somebody announces that knickers are the new trousers?

Imagine the headlines:

BREAKING NEWS: SATIN KNICKERS TAKE OVER THE HIGH STREET!

Suddenly everyone is walking around in frilly bloomers, lace-trimmed briefs and silky satin knickers.

And me?

I'd be sitting at Gloss Glam headquarters thinking:

"Well… I've been preparing for this moment my entire life." 👑😂

Although I draw the line at taking the bins out in a matching satin set.

Even I have standards.

Occasionally.

👑 The One Thing I Actually Love About This Trend

All jokes aside, there's something rather lovely about fashion becoming a little more playful.

For years, lingerie was something we bought mainly to wear underneath our everyday clothes.

But why shouldn't we appreciate beautiful fabrics, gorgeous designs and a little extra glamour?

You don't have to wear your bra as a top to enjoy this trend.

Maybe you love a glimpse of delicate lace beneath a blouse.

Maybe you enjoy a silky camisole under your favourite blazer.

Or perhaps, like me, you simply love knowing you're wearing something gorgeous underneath your ordinary clothes.

Nobody else has to see it.

Sometimes the best part of an outfit is the little secret underneath. 💖

And that, my lovely people, is exactly what Gloss Glam is all about.

💋 My Final Verdict: Fashion Genius or Have We All Gone Bonkers?

Do I think bras as tops will become everyone's everyday wardrobe choice?

Absolutely not.

Do I think some of these satin and lace designs are gorgeous enough to deserve a little attention?

Absolutely YES!

Will I personally be wandering around Aldi in a silky bra and high heels?

Unlikely.

But never say never.

After all, fashion has already given us jeans with holes bigger than the actual jeans, handbags smaller than a packet of chewing gum and shoes that look like they belong on another planet.

At this point, nothing surprises me anymore. 😂

And if silky knickers ever officially become acceptable outerwear…
