How many pairs of knickers do you actually own?

Now...

How many do you really wear?

If you're anything like me, you probably have a lovely collection of beautiful lingerie. Silky satin knickers, delicate lace briefs, colourful favourites, pretty floral pairs and perhaps one or two you've been saving for "one day."

Yet somehow...

We all seem to reach for the same few pairs over and over again!

Why is that?

I've been thinking about it this week while organising my lingerie drawer, and I realised that every pair seems to have its own little job.

There's the comfortable everyday pair that never lets you down.

The beautiful silky satin knickers that instantly make you feel glamorous.

The lace pair you save for evenings out.

The brand-new pair that's still waiting patiently with its tags on.

And yes... we've all got that pair we probably should have thrown away months ago but simply can't bring ourselves to part with!

It's funny how attached we become to something that's technically "just underwear."

But I don't think it really is just underwear.

Sometimes a favourite pair isn't about the colour or the fabric.

It's about how it makes you feel.

Maybe it reminds you of a lovely holiday.

Maybe it was a gift.

Maybe it's simply the softest, most comfortable pair you've ever owned.

There's comfort in familiarity.

And I think that's perfectly normal.

Running my online lingerie boutique has taught me something quite lovely.

People don't always buy lingerie because they need it.

Often they buy it because they're looking for that next favourite pair.

The one they'll reach for without even thinking.

The one that feels like it was made especially for them.

Of course, every now and then it's nice to shake things up.

Instead of automatically picking your usual favourites tomorrow morning, why not choose a pair you've forgotten about?

Perhaps those silky pink satin knickers tucked away at the back of the drawer.

Or the beautiful floral pair you bought because they made you smile.

Life's too short to leave the pretty ones waiting.

Sometimes all it takes is wearing something a little different to brighten your whole day.

So today, I have a challenge for you...

Open your lingerie drawer.

Find one pair you haven't worn for ages.

And give them their moment.

Who knows?

They might just become your new favourite all over again.
