🎃 The Halloween Countdown Has Begun… And Apparently My Knickers Are Ready Before I Am! 👻🎀

There comes a point every year when you suddenly realise…

Halloween isn't actually that far away. 😳🎃

One minute we're complaining that summer disappeared too quickly, and the next the shops are full of pumpkins, skeletons, fake cobwebs and enough orange decorations to make you question whether you've accidentally entered a giant pumpkin.

And here at Gloss Glam HQ, something even more terrifying has happened…

The Halloween knickers have arrived. 😂👻

And apparently they're considerably more organised for spooky season than I am.

🎃 45 DAYS UNTIL HALLOWEEN!

Yes — as of 16 September, there are just 45 days until Halloween!

That sounds like plenty of time.

It isn't.

Because we all know how this works.

Today:
"Halloween is ages away."

Next week:
"Ohhhh, I should probably think about Halloween."

Middle of October:
"I'll sort something this weekend."

30 October at approximately 9:47pm:

"WHERE CAN I BUY A WITCH HAT?!" 😂🧙♀️

So I'm getting ahead of the game this year.

Well…

At least my knickers are.

👻 SPOOKY SEASON HAS ARRIVED AT GLOSS GLAM

If you've been following Gloss Glam for a while, you'll know that I have a slight weakness for underwear that's a little different.

Silky? Absolutely.

Frilly? Obviously.

Pink? Always welcome.

A little bit ridiculous?

EVEN BETTER. 😂

So when I saw Halloween silky knickers, there was absolutely no possibility that I was going to behave like a sensible business owner and say:

"No thank you, I'll stick with the classics."

Instead my brain immediately went:

🎃 PUMPKIN KNICKERS?! WE NEED THEM.

And now they're here.

🖤 First Up: The Spooky Black Pair 🎃🎀

These might be some of my favourite Halloween knickers yet.

They're black and silky with:

🎃 little orange pumpkins
🦇 spooky bats
🎀 adorable pink bows
✨ tiny polka dots
💕 and fabulous frilly edges

Because apparently somebody looked at Halloween and thought:

"Needs more pink bows."

And frankly, I agree. 😂

They're basically what happens when Halloween meets coquette meets Gloss Glam.

Spooky…

but still pretty.

🩷 But Then Things Got Even More Ridiculous…

Because obviously one pair of Halloween knickers wasn't enough.

Enter…

🎃 THE PINK HALLOWEEN KNICKERS. 🩷👻

These are Halloween for people who look at traditional black-and-orange decorations and think:

"Lovely… but can we make it PINK?"

😂

Pink silky fabric covered with colourful pumpkins, ghosts, bats, skulls, stars and spooky little faces.

And yes…

More ruffles.

Obviously.

They're less:

🪦 "I haunt abandoned Victorian mansions at midnight."

And more:

🎀 "I haunt them too, but my outfit is adorable."

And now we have an important question.

I'd probably buy both.

Which is precisely why I shouldn't be allowed near lingerie suppliers unsupervised. 😂

🎃 Do We Actually Need Halloween Knickers?

Technically?

No.

But technically we don't need Halloween mugs, pumpkin-shaped cushions, skeleton decorations, pumpkin-spice everything or a plastic ghost that screams every time someone walks past it either.

And yet…

here we are. 😂

There's something wonderfully silly about seasonal underwear.

Nobody else necessarily knows you're wearing it.

You could be standing in Tesco looking completely respectable while secretly knowing there are 17 pumpkins and three bats on your knickers.

And I think that's beautiful. 😂🎃
