Well… I’m back.
The holiday is officially over, the suitcase has made it home, the washing machine has been informed of the situation, and I’m currently going through that very British stage of looking out of the window and wondering…
“Why did I come back?” 😂☀️➡️🌧️
But there is one thing I genuinely missed while I was away…
Gloss Glam. 💕
Okay, maybe I didn't miss packing orders at ridiculous hours quite as much. Or discovering that the one pair of knickers I desperately need for an order has somehow disappeared into the mysterious Bermuda Triangle otherwise known as my stock room.
But I DID miss my customers, my silky little empire and all the wonderfully chaotic things that come with running a lingerie business.
🧳 The Holiday Knicker Situation
Can we discuss holiday packing for a moment?
Why is it that when we're going away for seven days, perfectly sensible adults suddenly decide they require approximately fourteen pairs of underwear?
You know exactly what I'm talking about.
Seven days away?
Right then…
One pair for each day.
A couple of pretty ones.
Something comfortable.
Something silky.
Something just in case.
Something for the outfit you probably won't actually wear.
Two emergency pairs.
And suddenly your knickers have taken up more suitcase space than your shoes. 😂
But nobody questions it.
Because apparently there is a tiny part of our brain that genuinely believes:
“I may change my knickers three times on Tuesday. Best be prepared.”
And I fully support this level of planning. 😂👏

Coming back from holiday means it's time to get Gloss Glam HQ running at full speed again.
Orders to pack. 📦
Messages to answer. 💌
Stock to organise.
New silky treasures to photograph. 📸
Listings to create.
Lives to prepare for. 🎥
And, inevitably…
Me holding up a pair of knickers and thinking:
“Have I photographed these already?”
Followed approximately ten minutes later by:
“Where did I put those knickers?”
Running a lingerie boutique is extremely glamorous, obviously. 😂
But behind every parcel is little old me — choosing stock, taking photographs, writing listings, packing orders and doing a tiny happy dance whenever I recognise the name of one of my returning customers.
And lately I've noticed something rather lovely.
💖 Some of You Have Ordered 7, 8, 10… Even 20+ Times!
I was looking through some orders recently and realised that some of you have shopped with Gloss Glam again and again and AGAIN.
Seven orders.
Eight orders.
Ten orders.
Even twenty + times! 😲💕
And that genuinely stopped me in my tracks.
Because when you're running a small business, it's very easy to spend your day worrying about algorithms, views, listings, postage, stock and whether anyone is actually seeing what you're doing.
Then you notice somebody has chosen your little shop twelve separate times.
That's pretty bloody special. 💗
So to everyone who has ordered once — thank you.
To everyone who came back for a second pair — thank you.
And to those of you who appear to be building a Gloss Glam knicker collection large enough to require its own postcode…
I salute you. 😂🩲🎀
Your support genuinely keeps this little business going.
👀 So… What's Coming Next?
Holiday mode might be over, but we're definitely not returning quietly.
There are more gorgeous silky and satin styles coming, more bargains, more blogs and plenty more Gloss Glam LIVE fun.

Think beautiful lingerie, bargains, chatting, laughing and me occasionally forgetting what I was talking about halfway through a sentence.
